Welcome to Mekora. By accessing or using our website (mekora.com) and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Mekora
Mekora Pty Ltd (ABN 64 695 214 165) is an Australian-registered business based in Melbourne. We operate an online platform that curates and sells fashion from independent Vietnamese designers to customers in Australia. All products listed on our site are designed and manufactured in Vietnam by independent brands.
2. Eligibility and Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase on our website. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian may place an order on your behalf. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or older (or that a parent or guardian is ordering on your behalf) and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
To access certain features — such as placing orders, creating wishlists, and tracking order history — you must register an account. You must provide accurate, current information including your name and a valid email address.
You are solely responsible for the activity on your account and must keep your password secure. We are not responsible for unauthorised activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact our Customer Service team immediately and change your password. You must not use another person's account without their express consent.
3. Products and Pricing
All prices on our website are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error on an order you've placed, we'll contact you before processing the order.
Product images are for illustrative purposes. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. Minor variations in handcrafted items are normal and reflect the nature of independent, small-batch production. Where suitable, some product images may be generated or manipulated using artificial intelligence technology and may not be an exact representation of the product.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
4. Orders and Cancellation
Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. An order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation email from us.
In some cases, we may need to cancel an order after confirmation — for example, if a product is out of stock or if we identify a pricing error. If this happens, we'll notify you and issue a full refund.
You may cancel an order at any time before we send you a dispatch confirmation by contacting our Customer Service team. If an order is cancelled before dispatch, we will refund any amount paid including delivery charges.
5. Payment
We accept payment via major credit cards and Afterpay. All payments are processed securely through our payment providers (Airwallex and Afterpay). We do not store your payment details on our servers.
If you choose Afterpay, your purchase is split into 4 interest-free instalments in accordance with Afterpay's terms and conditions. Please review Afterpay's terms separately.
6. Discount Codes and Promotions
Discount codes are subject to the following conditions:
- •One code per order
- •Codes cannot be combined with other codes
- •Codes are single-use unless otherwise stated
- •Codes may have expiry dates
- •We reserve the right to cancel or modify codes at any time
From time to time we may offer specific promotions, discounts or offers. These are subject to specific terms and conditions which will be published on the site or notified to you at the time of the promotion. Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or discounts. We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing, public holidays, or carrier delays. If your order is lost or damaged in transit, contact us and we will work with our shipping partners to resolve the issue — including a replacement or refund where appropriate. 8. Returns
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply. If any item — including sale items, intimates, or earrings — is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of any other conditions in this section. See section 16.
We offer store credit for change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery. For faulty or damaged items, you may choose a replacement (if in stock) or a monetary refund. We do not offer size exchanges. Full details are available on our Returns & Refund Policy page.
Key points:

Intimates and hygiene-sensitive items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, for the health and safety of our customers and team. Sale items, gift cards, and earrings/pierced jewellery are also not eligible for change-of-mind returns. However, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply — if any of these items are faulty, defective, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy.
We may refuse or limit returns if we believe a customer is abusing our returns policy, including where a customer has an excessive return rate or returns worn or damaged products.
9. Founding 100 Program
The Founding 100 program is available to our first 100 customers only. Benefits include a numbered Founder ID (#001–#100), a collectible Mekora leather bag charm, free express delivery on the first order, a permanent 10% discount on future orders, 12 months of free express delivery, 48-hour early access to new collections, featured placement on mekora.com, a birthday month bonus (extra 5% off), and a founding member badge.
Founding 100 perks are non-transferable, apply to the account that placed the qualifying order, and cannot be exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the program at our discretion. The permanent discount applies to the product price before shipping and cannot be combined with other account-level discounts or single-use discount codes.
10. Vouchers, Gift Cards and Store Credit
Vouchers, gift cards and store credit issued by Mekora are subject to specific terms and conditions provided at the time of issue or purchase. They cannot be redeemed for cash and are non-refundable except as required by law.
Store credit issued for change-of-mind returns is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or unauthorised use of vouchers, gift cards or store credit.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is owned by Mekora or licensed to us by our brand partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our written permission. Product images and brand content are used with permission from the respective Vietnamese designers and brands.
12. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- •Use our website for any unlawful purpose
- •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- •Submit false or misleading information
- •Interfere with the operation of our website
- •Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from our website

13. User-Generated Content
Our site may allow you to submit reviews, comments, photos and other content (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and reproduce your User Content on our website, social media channels and marketing materials for the purpose of operating and promoting Mekora. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where it has already been shared or is required for legitimate business purposes.
You must not submit User Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or infringes any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person. We reserve the right to remove any User Content at our discretion without notice.
14. Third-Party Links
Our site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content of any linked websites and do not endorse or make any representations about them. Your use of linked websites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and conditions.
15. Privacy and Marketing
We collect, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the site. We may send you transactional emails related to your orders. Marketing communications are only sent if you have separately opted in, and you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or by contacting our Customer Service team.
16. Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if the products fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
17. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your use of our website or purchase of our products is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any loss, damage, liability, claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to: (a) your deliberate misuse of our website; (b) fraudulent activity conducted through your account; or (c) your breach of the User Conduct provisions in section 12 of these terms.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
If you have a dispute with us, please contact our Customer Service team first to try to resolve the matter informally before taking any formal action.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of updates where such changes may have a material detrimental impact to you.
